Well, I am Ayush Kumar, nearly 22 and currently pursuing B. Tech. in Electronics and Communication from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida. I made this blog as a place to pen down my ideas and thoughts, as a medium to understand how social influence works, to interact with my fellow bloggers and to improve my vocab and writing skills.
There are a variety of topics I love to discuss. Some topics may appear very unrelated to you, and some you can associate with. But to sum up, these are some of my major interests and mostly what I will be writing on :
Art & Design
My association with art has been from the time when I was in class I. I have been drawing since then (pencil shading and sketching) and it was only in college that I came across the world of digital art and design. Since then, I've worked tirelessly to improve my design skills and to leave my mark in the design world. I've designed graphics for my college fests and also for some clients. Cognitive sciences, Influence and Productivity
I have always been fascinated by how people can 'hack' into others' and their own brains to get work done. I'm also curious to know what makes people behave the way they do. Also, how certain people are more influential than others. All these come under the field of Human behavior and Psychology.
Literature and Books
Writing is just another form of art - of words making sense. As they say, the pen is definitely mightier than the sword. Words are known influence us in ways we cannot even comprehend of. This is the reason why I am so very interested in this art of words.
Entrepreneurship
Working for someone is good but each of us aspires to have 'something' they can call their own. Everyone, in some phase of their lives, thinks about quitting their job and starting their own venture. But the only thing that matters is that how many actually have the courage to do so.
Music, Movies & Culture
Well, who doesn't love to talk about these?
Politics
Well, don't we Indians just love to rant about our political system? ;)
Logic and rationality
I am a man of science. I am also an agnostic. I don't believe in classifying people on the basis of caste, creed, money, gender, age, height, religion etc. The only criteria for me is logic, rationality and behaviour. I like to think my problems through. I love to question things. And I love being different, even if I were termed 'weird' and 'boring'.
